SavvySugar Selects Plantable Journals as a Way to Brighten Your May May 10, 2012
If you've never heard of the popsugar family of websites, you should definitely give them a look. They are absolutely packed with all sorts of great information, everything from fashion to healthy living, tips for moms and families, and a personal favorite of mine, celebrity gossip and pop culture goings-on.
SavvySugar is a site devoted to all things career and money. Work-life balance, productivity, travel - everything! It's yet another great resource they offer. So we were extremely happy when we came across our own plantable journals in their list of 9 Ways to Brighten Your May, in their ongoing articles about How to Be Happy at Work.

SavvySugar appreciated the plantable journal's eco-friendliness, and suggested them as a great way to motivate creativity and peace. And the wildflowers it will grow from the seed paper? They loved that too, as well as their symbolism of your own personal growth.
That's enough about us though, be sure to take a look at the rest of the article too. SavvySugar has put together 10 really wonderful suggestions to brighten your day at work!
She {hearts} It Reviews Botanical PaperWorks May 2, 2012
A big thanks goes out today to blogger Aliesha, who writes for the popular blog She {Hearts} It. Aliesha wrote a wonderfully kind review of our plantable stationery and bunch of our other seed paper products after using a Bright Bouquet plantable cards set. Not to put words in Aliesha's mouth, but we'll just put it out there that we think her friends should probably prepare some room in their flower gardens for wildflowers!
Be sure to pop over there to She {hearts} It, and take a peek to see what some of her favorites were. And while you're there - be sure to enter in her draw for a bunch of goodies from the Bright Bouquet plantable stationery collection!

Botanical PaperWorks on The Today Show and CTV Morning Live for Earth Day April 19, 2012
It's no surprise that we love Earth Day, so you can imagine how thrilled we were to hear that both The Today Show and Winnipeg's own CTV Morning Live wanted to include our eco-friendly plantable stationery on their morning shows. Our company president Heidi is going to be right there with CTV, and although we won't be in New York for the Today Show, we can't wait to see what they have to say!

So whether you're closer to Botanical PaperWorks' home base here in Winnipeg, or getting your news from The Today Show, be sure to tune in tomorrow morning while you're getting ready for work!
Botanical PaperWorks' Seed Paper Cards in InStyle Magazine March 12, 2012
Well, isn't this a great way to start the week! We just received a fresh-off-the-press copy of April's InStyle Magazine. Not only did we get to see the beautiful Sofia Vergara on the cover, but our new Fresh Flowers Plantable Thank You Card Set featured inside!
These plantable cards were hand picked by the InStyle editors themselves, and were featured in the monthly "Staff Picks" section. With Earth Day coming up on April 22, the editors chose a bunch of stylish and eco-friendly products to showcase. Of course, plantable paper and Earth Day are a perfect match!

Shilpa Prabhakar, an InStyle Fashion Assistant says, "I love these cards, which are embedded with wildflower seeds. You can plant the whole thing. It's like sending a thank you and a bouquet of flowers all in one small envelope."
We're so happy to see this new plantable card set featured in the pages of such a stylish magazine! To see more card sets made with seed paper, visit the Stationery & Gifts section of our website.
Botanical PaperWorks' Stationery Chosen for Trend Display February 20, 2012

Recently, our Tranquil Garden Pocket Notebooks were selected for the 2012 Stationery & Decor Trend Display. The little notebooks were part of a white and ivory presentation within the larger display which showcased products by color trend. And as with all of the products from Botanical PaperWorks, the covers of the Tranquil Garden Pocket Notebooks are printed on plantable seed paper. When the seed paper is planted in soil, it will grow flowers.
Here's a photo of the seed paper notebooks in the display:

We also loved the office products like stamps, pens and file folders that the curators included in the display.
