Tips for Planning an Eco-Friendly Wedding from Huffpost Weddings May 8, 2012
We love Huffpost Weddings. Whether you're a bride, guest, or simply just interested in anything wedding-related, it's a great resource. Which is why when we saw their article full of tips on planning your dream eco-chic wedding, we just had to share!

Of course they recommend plantable wedding invitations and plantable save the date cards, but they also have so many other great suggestions, from attire to photography, jewelry and more. Go ahead, take a look.
New Plantable Save the Date and Menu Cards April 5, 2012
It's our last post of the week today, as myself and the rest of the Botanical PaperWorks staff heads home for our long weekends full of family, friends and a whole bunch of Easter feasting.
Before we go though, I wanted to share some new stuff we've just just listed on the website!
Back in December, we added some brand new plantable save the date cards to match our brand new plantable wedding invitation collections. Well, not only did we receive such a wonderful response from all of you, but we received requests for even more to be added to match some of your favorite OTHER collections too - collections like Embrace, Breathe, Song, and few others, too.
So that's what we did.
And just for good measure (and complete collections!) we updated our selection of plantable menu cards too. If you've never seen these before, they're a bit different from our ordinary seed paper. Why? The seed paper is embedded with carrot seeds instead of wildflowers. We thought it would make for some fun dinner conversation.
Take a look, and as always, don't ever hesitate to contact us if you have something you'd like us to look into. We're always happy to hear your great ideas.
Have a great weekend!
New Spring Plantable Invitations Getting Rave Reviews March 19, 2012
Not too long ago, we added 10 new plantable wedding invitations to our catalog (as well as some brand new plantable save the date cards), and we are both thrilled and flattered to see these new designs receiving such rave reviews from all over the place.
Invitation Crush is a go-to blog for anyone planning an event. The site's owner Kristen goes to all corners of the internet to find the most beautiful event stationery, and she recently showcased a whole bunch of designs from this new batch of plantable wedding invitations. Click on through to see which seed paper invitations were Kristen's top picks!
We were also lucky enough to be included in Bliss Magazine's wedding blog as well. Bliss is a brand-new wedding magazine that just launched their premiere issue last week. Take a look, both the blog and magazine are full of beautiful style and real wedding photos. We were so happy to work with their Editor-in-Chief Nikkol, who took some time to review our plantable wedding invitations, and is even offering a plantable confetti giveaway! If you want in on the plantable confetti contest, be sure to enter before this Wednesday, March 21. All you need to do is post a comment on Nikkol's post, and tell her which three colors of confetti you would choose.
If you don't want to wait for the lucky confetti winner to be chosen, don't forget - both shapes of our lime green confetti are on sale for 40% off!
New Lime Green Plantable Confetti Sale March 16, 2012
Maybe it's that spring is on its way, or maybe it's because St.Patrick's Day is coming up in just a couple days, but we're going gaga over our brand new lime green plantable seed paper.
So to celebrate spring, and this brand new color, we're offering both our five petal plantable confetti in lime green, and our heart shaped plantable confetti in lime green for 40% off! That's right - you heard me, 40% OFF! No leprechauns playing jokes, and we haven't been hit with spring fever - we just really love this color.
Not only is this color a great choice for a spring baby or bridal shower, but it's a hot color for weddings, too! Take a look at this lime green wedding inspiration board we've put together. So many great ideas out there.

1) A beautiful cake with lime green accents from Sweet Art Cakes
2) How fun! A polka dot lime green bow tie from Kelsey Bang on Etsy
3) Our very own Retro Lanterns Plantable Favor Tag in lime green
4) You know how we love chevron, here's a lime green chevron clutch from Found By Marie.
5) This ring is gorgeous! Any bridesmaid would love it as a gift, or a bride could wear it herself…but I'm pretty sure she'll want all focus to be on just the one. This ring is made the talented Luttrell Studio.
6) And last but not least, a beautiful photo by Nik Thavisone Photography. I love how this couple had both lime green accents, and each member of the bridal party is in their own distinct bright lime green hue, whether it be a dress or tie. Every detail looks great, right down to the lovely bride's lime green shoes!

Chevron Wedding Inspiration Board October 19, 2011
A few weeks ago, we introduced all of you to our New Plantable Chevron Wedding Invitations.
As we mentioned then, the chevron pattern is popping up everywhere these days. It can be found on manicures, clothing, jewellery, and so much more. With so many different uses, this modern pattern is the perfect way to coordinate your wedding day. Not just with plantable wedding stationery, but with accessories, table settings and decor - just to name a few.
With this in mind, we rounded up a chevron inspiration board you can use for your wedding–no matter what time of the year it's in! We just love how simply elegant this pattern is, and can go from being on the bolder to soft side so quickly with just a simple color change. Today's wedding inspiration board features one this fall's hottest colors - yellow. When hints of grey and brown are added to this bright and sunny color, it makes for an ultra-elegant detail that's so easy to coordinate with.

1. Attach our Plantable Chevron Favor Tags to a take-home gift for your guests. Each card is printed on seed paper embedded with wildflower seeds, so in addition to your gift, everyone will receive a bouquet of flowers when it's planted, too! Our simple idea shown here is to fill a jar with candies, and tie the ribbon and plantable tag around the neck of the jar.
2. Chevron Dinner Plate designed by Aedriel Originals.
3. Yellow and White Chevron Clutch by Waterpath Designs.
4. Grey Chevron Pattern Cake with Sugar Succulent made by Sweet and Saucy Shop.
5. Sunshine Yellow Chevron Ring Bearer Pillow from Willa Skye Home Accessories + Interior Design.
6. Table setting photographed by Gabriel Ryan.
We hope all you brides and party planners were inspired by this chevron inspiration board. With all these trendy chevron ideas, it's time to go plan the decoration details for your big day!
