Easter Egg Decorating Ideas

As long as I can remember, I've loved Easter.
It wasn't the chocolate and bunnies that got me (well okay, maybe a little bit because of the bunnies…and the chocolate…). But in addition to that, Easter has always meant that it's time try out some new Easter egg decorating ideas for the big family dinner. I've always adored the fun, spring colors and patterns associated with decorating eggs year after year.
As you can then imagine, I was pretty happy when my idea for an Easter egg decorating ideas blog post was approved.
So over the next few days, I will be sharing my Easter egg decorating ideas with you! How I managed to get those stars on them, how to creatively dip the eggs to get more colours in your basket, and simple things around your house that you can use to make some really cool patterns and textures.

What makes this year's basket extra special isn't just these new decorating ideas, but because instead of using tissue paper or craft straw filling, I've opted to use our shredded plantable confetti! One bag did the trick, and my family is going to love taking paper bags of the confetti home with them after dinner to plant in their gardens. No waste, and an added bonus of wildflowers to remind them of another great family dinner.
I hope you'll join me for the rest of the week as I share my Easter egg decorating ideas with you!
