Growing Carrot Seed Paper

A few weeks ago, I told you about our new fall plantable wedding invitations. As part of those collections, we’ve added a new component: plantable menu cards made with carrot seed paper.

I thought a great way to end the week here (we’re away from our offices for Canada Day tomorrow) would be to show you some carrot seed paper in action! These photos were taken by our very own Deanna, who planted the carrot seed paper about a month ago in her garden. I’ll keep you posted with more photos through the summer months!

We hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. Hi!
Such a good idea to plant vegetables with menu-cards. We at http://www.ponderplanes.com like it.

What else is on the plans for menu cards…can you put seeds for beans or are they too large?
Do you have a list of restaurants that are ordering these cards?

Are they difficult to plant -meaning do you have to you special dirt or keep them in distance?

    Keep up the good work!
