{free printables} Thanksgiving Napkin Ring Place Cards

Are you looking for some quick tips and free printables to “jazz up” your table this Thanksgiving? Like most of us busy women (and men), you probably don’t have a ton of spare time to fuss over decorations and seating arrangements. That’s why you’ll love these printable Napkin Ring Place Cards. They are a napkin ring holder and a place card in one. Don’t you love when something stylish and cute is also practical?

You really don’t need much time or money to create the look that we put together for this thanksgiving photo shoot. Just follow these easy tips:

Tip 1: Downloaded and print one of the free printable templates. Assemble the tags with the wraps and slip onto your napkins.

Tip 2: Use extra wraps and place them around your candles or the bottom of glasses. This ties-in the design of the Napkin Ring Place Cards to the rest of the table design.

Tip 3: Fill glass containers with leaves, twigs, acorns, pinecones…whatever you can find outside. The natural elements are perfect for fall, and they’re free!

Tip 4: If the table still feels like it’s missing something, add some strips of fabric in warm fall hues (we used eggplant tule for our table).

These are just a few ideas that we came up with for what we had around the house. Get creative and use what’s on hand. Start simple, even just adding personalized Napkin Ring Place Cards to your table will impress your guests. Here is what you will need to make the napkin ring place cards.

Supplies:

• Card stock (we used card stock for the wrap and seed paper for the tag, that way guests can plant it and grow wildflowers)
• Scissors and/or an Exacto knife
• Tape (optional)
• Ruler

Instructions:

Step 1: Choose from one of the four colors (green, yellow, orange, or red) of tags. Download and print the file by clicking on one of the banners below. Cut out the rectangular tags and cut slits on the two dotted lines (this is where the wrap will slide through). Add the names of your guests to each of the tags (better to at this point when the tag is still flat).

Step 2: Choose either the light plaid or dark plaid wrap, download and print by clicking on one of the banners below. Cut out the wraps (easily done with scissors but for better precision, use a ruler and exacto knife) and glide them through the slits on either side of the tag. Loop back through the slit of the tag (you should now be able to pull on the ribbon edge and adjust the size depending on your napkins.

Step 3: Decorate your table, maybe enjoy a glass of wine, and get ready for company!
