We love Huffpost Weddings. Whether you're a bride, guest, or simply just interested in anything wedding-related, it's a great resource. Which is why when we saw their article full of tips on planning your dream eco-chic wedding, we just had to share!

Of course they recommend plantable wedding invitations and plantable save the date cards, but they also have so many other great suggestions, from attire to photography, jewelry and more. Go ahead, take a look.
New Spring Plantable Invitations Getting Rave Reviews March 19, 2012
Not too long ago, we added 10 new plantable wedding invitations to our catalog (as well as some brand new plantable save the date cards), and we are both thrilled and flattered to see these new designs receiving such rave reviews from all over the place.
Invitation Crush is a go-to blog for anyone planning an event. The site's owner Kristen goes to all corners of the internet to find the most beautiful event stationery, and she recently showcased a whole bunch of designs from this new batch of plantable wedding invitations. Click on through to see which seed paper invitations were Kristen's top picks!
We were also lucky enough to be included in Bliss Magazine's wedding blog as well. Bliss is a brand-new wedding magazine that just launched their premiere issue last week. Take a look, both the blog and magazine are full of beautiful style and real wedding photos. We were so happy to work with their Editor-in-Chief Nikkol, who took some time to review our plantable wedding invitations, and is even offering a plantable confetti giveaway! If you want in on the plantable confetti contest, be sure to enter before this Wednesday, March 21. All you need to do is post a comment on Nikkol's post, and tell her which three colors of confetti you would choose.
If you don't want to wait for the lucky confetti winner to be chosen, don't forget - both shapes of our lime green confetti are on sale for 40% off!

Hello, Tangerine Tango! March 5, 2012
Tangerine Tango is Pantone's Color of the Year, and we couldn't be happier. We LOVE orange over here (especially our company president Heidi). It's fun, vibrant, and whether used as a main or accent color, it easily brightens up any event.
Sooooo, in honor of this wonderful decision by Pantone, we've created a brand new Tangerine Seed Paper!
In addition to sheets, this color is available in our heart shaped plantable confetti, five petal plantable confetti, as well as all of our plantable favours as well.
Looking for Tangerine plantable wedding invitations? We've got a whole bunch of options for you! We've added Tangerine designs to the Two Hearts Plantable Wedding Invitation, Embrace, Song, Beginnings, and Breathe.
Want to see more Tangerine inspiration? Take a peek at the Tangerine Pinboard we've created over on Pinterest, too!
Plantable Wedding Invitations in Elle Italia January 4, 2012
It's not every day you pick up the phone and a major fashion magazine is on the other end. But that's exactly what happened to us back in December when Elle Italia gave us a shout, wanting to know a bit more about our seed paper. Yes, THAT Elle. Take a look!

Because no one here is fluent with the Italian language, we went to our old friend Google Translate to see what they had to say about us:
"An original wedding invitation with nature comes with Bothanical Paperworks: invitations and confetti (to use instead of rice) of recycled paper with seeds of plants, which cast into the earth will give birth to fragrant herbs and aromatic plants."
Not only are we incredibly proud to see our plantable wedding invitations recognized by a fashion powerhouse such as Elle, but to be featured because the invitations are both stylish AND eco-friendly…that just made it so much better.
And speaking of plantable wedding invitations, have you noticed our new spring designs for 2012? More about those later this week…stay tuned!
Checking in on the Planted Carrot Seed Paper August 29, 2011
Hello everyone, and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
Back in June, we took a peek into our employee Deanna's back yard, and saw a whole bunch of growing carrot seed paper. The carrot tops had popped up already, and everything was looking really healthy.
So when I saw Deanna enjoying fresh garden carrots in her lunch the other day, I realized it was time for an update! The carrots from our seed paper are now fully grown (and extra delicious!). Take a look!

We use carrot seed paper for all of the plantable menu cards that are part of our newest plantable wedding invitation collections (two hearts, birch, leaf and pinecone). They don't need to be just for weddings though, be creative! With Thanksgiving coming up, how fun would it be to have a carrot seed plantable menu card at each place setting?
Growing Carrot Seed Paper June 30, 2011
A few weeks ago, I told you about our new fall plantable wedding invitations. As part of those collections, we've added a new component: plantable menu cards made with carrot seed paper.
I thought a great way to end the week here (we're away from our offices for Canada Day tomorrow) would be to show you some carrot seed paper in action! These photos were taken by our very own Deanna, who planted the carrot seed paper about a month ago in her garden. I'll keep you posted with more photos through the summer months!
We hope you all have a great weekend!

New Two Hearts Plantable Wedding Invitations May 31, 2011
When I told you about the new ribbon colors for our plantable wedding favors yesterday, I also mentioned that I had a whole bunch of new things to tell you about over here on the blog this week. And I'm a person that sticks to her promises!
So today I'm here to tell you about our new Two Hearts Plantable Wedding Invitations and the rest of this brand-new wedding collection! Let's start with the invitation, shall we? Take a look!
The Two Hearts Plantable Wedding Invitations are available in an all-new palette of eight classic and elegant colors including Brick Red, Burnt Orange, Honeysuckle Pink, Mustard Yellow, Navy, Olive Green, Purple and Teal.
All of our plantable wedding invitations include envelopes as well. This invitation comes with the option of white or grey at no additional charge.
Also included in this collection are the Two Hearts Plantable Reply Card, and Two Hearts Plantable Favor Tags. Ribbon is not included with the favor tags, but should that be something you want, just contact us - all of our colors are created to complement our ribbon selection as well!
The next component in the collection is yet another brand-new part of our wedding collections, the Two Hearts Plantable Menu Cards. Not only are these printed on plantable paper, but carrot seed plantable paper! A bit of a different twist, and sure to start some nice dinner table conversation. These menu cards also pair nicely with the Two Hearts Plantable Place Cards as well.
Using plantable paper wedding stationery not only makes a statement, but it's extremely eco-friendly and practical as well, which is why we had a bit of a different approach to our Two Hearts Plantable Thank You Cards.
These cards are not personalized, and for a good reason! They're blank inside, and ready for personal thank you notes to all of your guests. Should you have a few extra, they won't go to waste! Not being personalized means you can use them to thank anyone at any time, even if it's not related to your wedding.
We're so proud of this new wedding suite. Our goal was to make it simple, classic and fun, all at the same time. We'd love to hear what you think!
