We started Botanical PaperWorks in 1997 after co-founder Mary Reimer was looking for a way to recycle the paper discarded by her elementary school students.
Today, we make paper from 100% post-consumer waste collected from eco-minded schools and businesses in our home town of Winnipeg, Canada. It's exciting to be using the paper waste from these organizations to create beautiful paper and stationery.
To plant the paper, prepare a pot of soil or small patch of garden. Place plantable paper on top and cover with a thin layer of soil. Water well and give plenty of sunshine. Keep moist during germination.
As the plants grow right out of the paper, look for flowers like Bird's Eye, Clarkia, Black Eyed Susan, Poppy, Catchfly and Snap Dragon as shown at right.
