It's jam-making time, and in our house, we're excited about harvesting the purple grapes to make grape jam. Last year, we made 30 quarts of the stuff and we enjoyed it all winter long. This year, I wanted to dress-up the jars a bit, especially for when we give the jam away as gifts. So I asked the talented design team at Botanical PaperWorks to design a set of jam jar labels and they created this lovely and FREE printable label download.
There are two styles, circles and rectangles, that can be printed on crack-and-peel label stock from Staples or on plain card stock and tied to the jars with decorative twine. Check out how adorable they turned out.
The labels are pretty spectacular on their own but how great do the jam jars look dressed up with baker's twine and linen fabric? Here's where it's fun to get creative, you can personalize the jars to reflect your own personal style by using different fabrics and ribbon (or twine). For an added bonus, print the labels on seed paper and attach them with a hole punch and twine. Now you're giving them the gift of homemade jam and wildflowers that will grow from the seed paper when planted. These are sure to be a favorite come gift giving season!
We love how these turned out and are excited to see the reaction from friend's and family who recieve them as gifts (if we don't eat it all ourselves). Once we got our hands on these labels, dressing up the jam jars was easy!
