  1. Leave plain boxes unwrapped. You can easily dress them up with some ribbon and a recycled paper tag.
  2. Use natural elements such as pine branches, acorns, or leaves for decorative details instead of plastic bows.
  3. For smaller packages, reuse old maps, magazines clippings, or even newspapers. You can surely find something you can upcycle into gift wrap around the house and dress it up with twine or natural elements.
  4. Try fabric, it’s a great way to go green because it can be reused.
  5. If you are buying wrapping paper or tags, look for those made from recycled material or chose kraft postal paper. Because it’s is plain and uncoated, you are avoiding the harmful inks and glosses.
  6. Reusable bags of any kind are always a good choice to keep it green.
