Flowerink’s Sustainable Stationery Made With Plantable Seed Paper

Based in Montreal, Canada, Flowerink Stationery is a boutique shop that combines a passion for art and design with sustainability using a special eco-friendly seed paper from Botanical PaperWorks. Their mission is to offer a simple yet candid product that warms the heart, and when browsing their products, you definitely feel that.

The shop includes an assortment of vibrant watercolor painted cards and unique line-art designs for a variety of occasions. All made with plantable paper so that the cards will not only give the recipients a special greeting but will also give them the chance to plant and grow wildflowers.

The founder, Mélanie Girard-Brisson, wanted to make stationery that was more environmentally conscious so the card, packaging, and envelopes are all earth-friendly.

“At Flowerink Stationery, we are always looking to offer the most sustainable option, while keeping it local. This is why we use Botanical Paperworks seed paper. The quality they offer is incredible – plus, it’s Canadian! It’s simply the best.” ~ Mélanie Girard-Brisson

The seed paper is made from post-consumer material that is recycled from local schools and businesses in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is 100% biodegradable, and since it’s embedded with tons of wildflower seeds, it grows habitats for important pollinators when planted in soil.
