Botanical PaperWorks celebrated some big accomplishments in Toronto this year, picking up three PPPC Image Awards!
The prestigious event is an annual celebration that recognizes promotional product suppliers and distributors with unique products and programs developed in the previous year. The evening is a fantastic chance for all the hard-working people in the industry to come together and celebrate accomplishments, so we were thrilled to be finalists for three awards.
We had a great time hearing about all creative products and hard-working teams that were recognized and were proud to be among them. A BIG thank you to the Promotional Products Professionals of Canada (PPPC) for organizing the event!

Plantable Golf Balls, Gold Winner for Most Creative New Promotional Product and Bronze Winner for Made in Canada
This unique promotional product was created to help send a message about Growing Together, as three promotional product organizations were announcing and celebrating a new partnership at a golf tournament. The Plantable Golf Balls promotion included three white seed bombs sized to resemble golf balls, and each ball was packed with wildflower seeds that sprout and bloom when planted. The packaging for the product was made from biodegradable corn plastic, and the package topper shared the message Growing Together along with the logo triad representing the partnering organizations.
Sample Kit, Bronze for Most Beneficial Sales & Marketing Aid
Our objective with this sales aid was to introduce potential Botanical PaperWorks distributors attending the PPPC National Convention to our product line, in a way that addresses the one of the most common comments we hear at trade shows: “I love your products, but I’m just not sure how to sell them to my clients.”
We answer this question all the time, of course, but the aim of this promotion was to show and tell the range of innovative seed paper products we produce and how our customers use them. We wanted booth visitors to leave with a tangible tool they could use to pitch our product. It’s easy to forget booth conversations so we wanted to provide something that would stimulate sales long after the conference.
To do so, we created an engaging package containing samples of our seed paper products to demonstrate their many possible applications. The copy on the packaging read, “5 Reasons to Use Plantable Promotions,” and directed recipients to our digital catalog. Inside the package, the insert also provided valuable information about seed types, native species options, and unique selling factors of Botanical PaperWorks seed paper.
